NRWA marked October month as month of action and celebrated the IRWD,WFD and Arbor day in all the 14 constituted regions in the country the event was attended by close to 900 community members mostly rural women who are members of Namibia rural women assembly as each region catered almost 60 participants.
The celebration was under one theme: Rural Women Cultivating food for all. The event in various regions brought together women and stakeholders to celebrate, share and learn from the community challenges women manage to get change addressing issues affecting them to relevant government officials. It was followed by by seeds and fruit trees planting at primary school conservancy office and sharing the the member with the intention of addressing food sovereignty and security in remote areas advocating for fruit trees plantation
